Writer: Marshal YoungerDirector: Paul McCusker Production Engineer: Bob Luttrell Original Air Date: 11/04/2000 Scripture reference: Proverbs 16:9 Theme: God's plans sometimes differ from our own. Album: None Yet.Summery:When Jason is late to speak at the Timothy Center, Connie tries to keep a restless crowd calm. Meanwhile, Jason finds that the most important thing he needed to do that evening may not have been speaking at the center. ------------------------------------ UAIO Review: S ometimes plans don't come out the way we plan...and this time it is better that way.Stuck in the rain, his car in the mud. Jason Whittaker was heading to the Timothy Center to 'entertaine' a hand full of tough guy teen gangs, from Oswald Hights. Now, Jason walks in the messy weather to a house to call and let them know he would be late, and to try to get a ride back to the Timothey Center. Only things change when Jason comes to a house with a boy named Josh, and his Mother named Amy. Jason stays until Eugene can pick him up, and while he waits, he seems to have a good time, and well, don't want to say much, but I think he may have found a new friend. As for Connie, back at the Timothey Center trying to get everything under control, all seems to fail, until one member of the gang seems to put everything into persepective with a poem. While you listen, you hear the old side of Odyssey in a brand new way, in fact, in a better way. We meet new friends, laugh and learn a lession, and most of all, isn't this what Odyssey is about? Now, I must say that this is one of the most well written episodes of all-time Odyssey. Younger dose works with a poem, and uses the Characters in the best way possible. We really like Josh, and we get an idea that Jason may really like Amy, but maybe not. Future episodes will tell out this storyline, and it is something we all want to hear. I can say that this is the best Timothy Center episode yet, and I can go on about how much it was like Odyssey, and what was right in the episode, but when it all comes down to the episode, well, you just had to hear it. You just had to be there for yourself. UAIO Rating (of of 5): Message/Lesson: 3 Plot: 5 Character Usage: 5 Musical Score: 4 Overall Entertainment Value: 4.8 See below fan reviews for there rating: ------------------------------------ Fan Review(s): ------------- Voice Talents: Comming soon...compleate list.
[COMING VERY SOON..REALLY!)
1. You may have noticed a voice that sounded like the long time Character, Lawrance Hodges, and there is a good reason for that. Because the actor that played Steve also played Lawrance Hodges, and he is a wonderful actor. We should hear more of him, don't you think? 2. The actor who performed the character of Josh was played by John Beebees son! Christopher Beebee, a fine well young actor who performed his talents in more then one way. Infact his parts were recorded seprate from the other actors, almost more than a month after the rest of the show.was recorded. 3. Two years ago from the date this episode was aired, this episode was already written. Only the parts were reversed ain a few ways. Whit had Jason's part, and some of the "testimonies" were also featured in another Timothy Center episode, "You Win Some, You Lose Some." 4. This show began a recording session and ended it with the episode "Worst Day Ever". Funny isn't it? <-----PAST REVIEW NEXT REVIEW ----->
